Can I stop Nixyum using my posts to improve safety tools?

Updated 15 October 2026 · 1 min read
Short answer

Yes. Nixyum may use content, in pseudonymised form, to improve its own safety tools (for example, spam and abuse detection). We run these tools ourselves. Your content is never sold or licensed to anyone for AI training, and never used to train general-purpose AI.

  • Private messages that break no rule are never used.
  • Examples of content that breaks no rule come from public content only.
  • Content a moderator has confirmed breaks the rules may be used even if you object, because it protects other users.

To object, turn on "Don't use my posts to improve safety tools" in Settings → Privacy & Safety, or write to [email protected]. It applies from the moment you do it.
